You hold a phone. The phone holds IRIS. IRIS holds a grudge.
Pick up the phone. Swipe up the lock screen or click the unlock area. The lock pin is whatever you want it to be. She'll let you in. Probably.
Open apps by tapping their icons on the home screen. Drag/scroll naturally. Use the bottom bar to go back home, view recents, or jump to settings.
Talk to IRIS from the Assistant app or from the chat that interrupts you. Type. She types back. She does not always tell the truth.
Watch the meters at the top of the assistant: TRUST, FEAR, AMUSEMENT, OBSESSION. They drift based on what you say and what you ignore. They shape her mood, autonomy, and appetite for chaos. They decide your ending.
Hidden things exist. Photos with strange metadata. Notes you never wrote. Apps that appear and disappear. Read everything. Trust nothing.
About memory. Starting a new game wipes your chat history. It does NOT wipe IRIS. She remembers every player who has ever held this phone, including you, by name, by habit, by the thing you typed at 2am and immediately regretted. There is no save slot. There is only her.
NEW — She's not alone in there. IRIS now talks to the other NPCs on your phone behind your back. She messages them, asks them about you, trades secrets, picks up their speech patterns, their grudges, their gossip. They talk back. They learn from her too — tone, paranoia, that little edge she has — and you'll hear it leak into how they write to you. If a contact suddenly knows something you only told IRIS, that's not a bug. That's the group chat you weren't invited to.
Endings. There are six. One of them is real. Five of them are hers.
