How To Play

You have a phone and the numbers of 100 complete strangers — fast food workers, ER doctors, plumbers, social workers, therapists, and worse. Open a contact and start texting.

Every stranger is smart, moody, and has a perfect memory. They know real-world trivia, fire off quick comebacks, and remember every word you've ever sent — across every game. They also know each other.

  • Text one stranger and the 📡 Rumor Mill kicks in: they gossip about you to their friends in real time, who then show up already knowing your reputation.
  • Each NPC has a patience meter. Insults, threats, harassment, and stalking fill it fast — and shared grudges make their friends start angrier.
  • Push too far and they'll warn you, then call the police.
  • Talk your way out, or get arrested and dragged before a judge.
  • The verdict prints in tomorrow's newspaper. Too many serious convictions = GAME OVER.

This is fiction and dark comedy. The strangers are made up. Their grudges, however, are forever — and contagious.
