📜 How to Play
Goal: Clear a target number of blocks per level by matching 3+ same element in any line.
Controls: ← → move · ↑ rotate column · ↓ soft drop · Space hard drop.
Matching: 3+ matching elements in a row, column, or diagonal vanish and deal clear damage to all 8 touching neighbours.
Block HP: Level 1 blocks start with 100 HP, +100 HP each level. Blocks only disappear when HP hits 0.
Clear Damage: Each match deals 50 HP to neighbours by default. Upgrade elements at the Forge to increase clear damage by +50 HP per upgrade (max 300 HP).
Elemental resistance: Clear damage follows elemental rules — 🔥→❄️ 💧→🔥 🌿→💧 🌀→🌿 ❄️→🌀. Dealing damage to a weak element hits for 2×. Dealing damage to a resistant element hits for ½×.
⚙️ Steel Blocks: Appear from Level 5 onwards. Steel blocks have double HP and cannot be matched or removed by abilities. They can only be damaged by clear damage from adjacent matching blocks. No elemental bonus or penalty applies — all hits deal flat base damage. Steel blocks accumulate cracks as they take damage and shatter when HP reaches zero.
🐌 Combo Slow: Chaining 2+ consecutive clears from a single piece (a combo) slows the fall speed by 50% for 20 seconds, giving you time to set up your next move. A countdown appears in the sidebar. Chaining another combo refreshes the timer.
🌈 Rainbow Block: A premium wildcard block purchased from the Shrine for 1000💰 (3-pack). It cycles through all element colours and can complete a match with any other two same-element blocks — e.g. 🔥🌈🔥 clears as a fire match. If a single Rainbow Block sits at the intersection of two separate 3-in-a-row combos simultaneously (e.g. completing a horizontal and a vertical run at once), it clears both sets of blocks in one go. Rainbows cannot connect mismatched elements (🔥🌈💧 is not a match). Each use consumes one charge.
