The game plays a procedurally generated funk / city-pop soundtrack — no audio files, composed live in your browser using the Web Audio API.
The track is a 16-bar loop: an 8-bar A-section (Cmaj7 → Am7 → Fmaj7 → G7) followed by an 8-bar B-section (Dm7 → G7 → Em7 → Am7) with a brighter upper-octave melody and a snare backbeat.
Click the 🎵 MUSIC button in the top-right HUD to mute or unmute the music at any time.
When muted the button shows 🔇 MUSIC. Music resets to on automatically whenever you start a new game.

🍔 Hunger — Drains slowly over time. Reach 0 and your Health starts dropping. Eat food to refill.
⚡ Energy — Required to work shifts. Sleep to restore it fully.
❤️ Health — Drops when you starve, miss rent, or get busted by cops. Keep it above 0.
🌿 Buzz — How high Mike is. Rises when you smoke weed. Affects vision. Decays over time.
🍺 Drunk — How drunk Mike is. Rises from booze. Makes Mike stagger. Decays over time.
🕐 Time — Advances when you work shifts or sleep. Affects the sky colour.

🏚️ Sunset Arms Apts — Your starting home. Pay $350/month rent every 7 days. Sleep here to restore Energy. Missing rent adds debt and garishes future wages.
🏙️ The Pinnacle — Luxury penthouse. Requires $3,000 deposit at the City Housing Office first. Rent is $1,500/month but it's the top of the city.
📋 Employment Office — Apply for any of 9 jobs. You can only hold one job at a time. Quit and reapply anytime.
🍔 MC Damn Burger — Buy burgers ($5), fries ($3), soda ($2). Work here for $12/hr if employed.
🌮 Taco Beans — Tacos ($4), burritos ($6), soda ($2). Work for $11/hr.
🍾 Liquid Dreams — Beer ($3), wine ($8), whiskey ($12), vodka ($18), chips ($2), soda ($2). Work for $11/hr.
🌿 Green Bliss Dispensary — Weed bags ($15), oz ($60), pipe ($12), bong ($35), papers ($5). Work for $13/hr.
🔫 Iron Eagle Firearms — Knife ($49), pistol ($299), shotgun ($499), ski mask ($25), duffel bag ($30). Work for $13/hr.
📺 Tech World — TV ($299), fridge ($399), microwave ($89), stove ($249). Work for $12/hr.
🛒 Quick Mart — Canned beans ($2), bread ($3), chips ($2), coffee ($3), 1-week groceries ($40), 4-week groceries ($140), scratch tickets ($5), soda ($2). Work for $10/hr.
🏦 First City Bank — Deposit/withdraw savings (2% interest per sleep), take loans ($500–$5,000 at 10%/week), buy and sell stocks.
🏢 City Housing Office — Pay $3,000 deposit to unlock The Pinnacle apartment.
💼 JOBS
Visit the Employment Office and apply for any job. You must be physically inside the right building to work a shift.
Each shift costs Energy and Hunger. Make sure you're fed and rested.
If you owe back-rent, your entire wage is garnished until the debt is cleared.
Wages: Burger $12 · Taco $11 · Quick Mart $10 · Liquor $11 · Green Bliss $13 · Iron Eagle $13 · Tech World $12 (all ×4 hrs per shift).
🏦 BANK & MONEY
Savings — Deposit cash in $100 increments. Earns 2% interest per sleep.
Withdraw — Take out $20 at a time or pull your full balance at once.
Loans — Borrow $500, $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000. Interest of 10% is added every 7 days until repaid. Only one loan at a time.
Stocks — Buy shares in Tech Corp, Oil & Gas, Gold Reserves, City Realty, or Crypto Coin. Prices fluctuate every 8 seconds in real time. Buy low, sell high.
🌿 WEED HUSTLE
Buy weed at Green Bliss — bags ($15) or oz ($60).
Sell to street NPCs for a profit: bags sell for $25, oz sells for $120.
NPCs who buy: Pete the Bum, Street Thug, and Dealer Bob (via trade).
You need weed in your inventory — click the NPC and choose the sell option.
🔫 ROBBERY
You need a weapon (knife, pistol, or shotgun) AND a ski mask in your inventory.
Enter any store and click the ROB button (gun icon) in the store panel header.
