Rounds

Matches are best of three rounds. Each round lasts 90 seconds; if time runs out, whoever has more health wins the round.

A clown who's been knocked flat can't be hit until they're back on their feet.

Finish the joke!

Win the deciding round and your opponent staggers, turns round and bends over. You have about seven seconds.

Walk up and land any kick in the behind (K, D+K or I) for a BOOT! and your clown's Hilarity finisher. A punch just knocks them over.

The clowns

Misfit

Different by choice. Long legs, fast hands. His special shot is a crackling ball of joy-buzzer lightning.

Hilarity: Balloon Pop. Pumps his victim up with lightning until they burst into confetti and balloons.

Giggles

Retired fire-eater. Hits like a cannonball and still breathes fire: his special shot is a fireball.

Hilarity: Spring Loaded. A hook that launches his victim's head up on a spring.

Tips from the ringmaster

  • Open with jabs. They're fast enough to string together before the other clown can recover.
  • If your opponent keeps ducking, punish it with a front kick sweep.
  • Throw your shot from across the ring, then close in while they jump or duck it.
  • Save the hook for when they're stunned. It's slow, but it puts them on the floor.
  • On Brutal, the opponent blocks and dodges a lot. Mix high, mid and low.
