    Field Operations & Survival Guide

    1. Intercepting & Positioning: Use Highway 81 (North–South) and Highway 64 (East–West) to stay ahead of the supercell's hook echo. Watch the yellow storm motion vector on your Doppler radar so the vortex doesn't overrun your position.

    2. Deploying Turtle Probes (P): Drive ahead of the tornado's projected path, drop an aerodynamic orange Turtle Probe on the roadway or shoulder, and back away to a safe observation distance (350m–1,200m). When the vortex core passes over the probe, you earn massive research payouts and reputation.

    3. Storm Photography (F): Frame the tornado between 250m and 1,350m and press F (or click Photo). Lightning-illuminated shots and multi-vortex structures earn bonus funding.

    4. Surviving Violent Winds: Vehicles can be pushed, rolled and lifted into the vortex. Stay in the first-person cockpit or press E to eject, even in midair. Your view stays at your head as wind tumbles your 160-pound body. Flying cars and debris can strike you. Unlock the DOMINATOR-X Armored Interceptor or DOW-9 Radar Truck to deploy ground spikes (X), or reach a green-beacon Underground Storm Shelter (+ on radar) when on foot.

    5. Leaving the Truck: Press E to step outside in first person. Walk with WASD, drag the mouse to look, and press E near the truck to return. On foot, strong inflow can pull you off your feet and carry you into the tornado. Watch your distance and keep shelter in reach.
