Cloudstar

Cloudstar is a simple platformer about a blue slime of the same name, and it has you go about in various levels and themes.

So far, only two levels exist, however many are yet to appear soon!

This is a very early release of Cloudstar, I'm working on this as hardly as I can, I hope to get the full game done soon, with a Shop menu, Practice mode, and so much more! I hope you enjoy!

Controls (are mostly explained in The Playground, but just to confirm):

W/up key or Space key to jump

A/left key to walk left

D/right key to walk right

E key to dash in midair while moving

i key to attack at objects nearby when you have collected enough Stars, or Mana.

Patch Notes

Below are the patch notes from the past updates to this game.

v0.1.4 hotfix #2 - "pausefix" - 2024-08-26 04:48:22

  • I Made it so that the Level Select Menu starts with The Playground rather than ending with it.
  • A better, fully functional pause screen, now if you press pause you have an option to resume to the game! i know, crazy right?
  • The Pause Menu also looks a little bit better, there is text on the top and bottom of the screen that describes it.

Now I gotta go to sleep soon, it's almost 1 AM

v0.1.4 hotfix - 2024-08-25 18:41:40

 

  • Removed the Secret Gallery because it was poorly added lol
  • You can now show the FPS by pressing the ` key
  • Level Results were modified to cause less lag
  • Scrapped Notes had some enemies removed due to lag
  • The Paper Airplane in Scrapped Notes is faster

Next hotfix will fix one bug in the Paper Airplane mechanic
