EVIL GOD — A Divine Comedy
by happystoner5420 Games
Game Concept
Evil God is a dark comedy god simulation game where you play as a malevolent deity who torments a tribe of hapless NPCs living on a remote island. You wield devastating divine powers to punish, terrorize, and destroy your unfortunate subjects while they frantically try to survive, worship you, or run for their lives.
Core Gameplay
The game features a tropical island populated by 22 NPCs (each with unique names like Grog, Oog, Blarg, Zugg, etc.) who go about their daily lives — wandering during the day and gathering around campfires at night. As an evil god, you have 33 different divine powers at your disposal to wreak havoc upon them.
Day/Night Cycle
60-second day/night cycle with dynamic lighting
NPCs exhibit different behaviors: daytime wandering vs. nighttime campfire gatherings
Visual transitions with dawn/dusk banners and changing sky colors
Natural darkness during night phases

Dark Comedy Tone
The game embraces absurdist, over-the-top violence with a tongue-in-cheek approach. NPCs are cartoonish primitives with silly names who react hilariously to divine punishment. The subtitle "A Divine Comedy" and studio name "happystoner5420 Games" signal the game's irreverent, comedic intent.
