Important:

1. Double click / tap when shadows of cards appear in the dark green zone.
   This will open up the card menu which involves majority of the gameplay.
2. Order of Cards can be changed by clicking the golden numbers in deck.

• Knight Ball is a 2D arcade action game that is a mix of wall ball bounce and card power ups against a knight.
• NO AUDIO currently present in the game as it is still in it's development stage.
• Currently released to test and receive feedback.

Tutorial

Note: On mobile tap is same as left click.

Game Scores

• White number stand for Game Speed.
• Pink number stand for Lives.
• Gold number stands for Gold bounces.
• Purple number stands for Card Bounces.

Holding and Throwing the Ball

• Hold left click to hold the ball.
• Release left click to throw / shoot the ball in your mouse's direction.

Lives

• The game starts of with 3 lives.
• Reaching zero lives is game over.

Grab Zone

• The dark green zone is the grab zone for the ball.
• The ball can be grabbed and thrown when it's present in this region.

Gold Bounces

• Gold bounce is the currency through which cards are unlocked and bought in the shop.
• Gold bounces are earned by bouncing the ball against the meteorite during gameplay.

Knight

• The knight will stay outside the grab zone if the ball is grabbed.

Fireball

• By default every throw starts off with a fireball.
• The speed of the ball is increased and can phase through an unguarded knight.

Knight Block

• If the knight has his shield raised, fireballs or freezeballs can no longer pass through him.
• Baiting out the block by bouncing across walls in the grab zone is a valid strategy.

Cards

• Cards are abilities that can be used during the game.
• They are split into 3 categories

Normal

• Most cards are normal cards.
• If the card is used without any form of curse dispel.
  • A curse is applied at the end of the card usage.
• Cursed cards can be dispelled by reducing the number of card bounces to 0. (Default is 5)

Broken

• A broken card has the (broken) phrase in it's name.
• These cards cannot have their curses dispelled.
• They tend to be cheaper alternatives to their non broken versions.

Special

• Special cards do not exist in the shop.
• They are only gained through rewards or random card purchases.
• These cards do not have any curses applied to them.

Card Bounces

• Card bounces are just like gold bounces but only exist in the presence of cards.
• Instead of it being a currency, they are more like fees / requirement to do an action.
• Only when card bounces is zero can the next action be taken.

Card Menu

• When the shadows of cards show up in the grab zone, a double left click leads to opening of the card menu.
• The game is paused during it's usage.

Card Description

• When a card is available for usage, it's and it's curse's description is shown through this UI.
• The card can either be used, skipped or put on hold by purchasing a random card instead.

Random Card

• If you have enough gold bounces from your previous playthroughs, a random card can be purchased during the game.
• This is possible through card description or when there aren't any cards left to proceed through the deck.
• Purchasing random card is one of the ways to gain access to special cards.

Reward System

• Rewards work based on score, higher the score better the rewards.
• High scores give double the amount.

Unlock Chamber

• Initially all cards are locked in the shop.
• The unlock chamber is where the cards can be unlocked.
• If enough gold bounces are earned in a gameplay, the option to enter the unlock chamber is provided.
• Any card that meets the unlock requirements can be unlocked with score earned during the gameplay.
• Score that is not spent unlocking is converted to Total Gold Bounces.

Side Wall Teleportation Card

• There is no teleportation effect in the grab zone and top near the meteorite.
