EduGame Jam 2026 is an online game development challenge where students, developers, designers, and creators come together to build educational games that combine creativity, technology, and learning. Participants will design and develop games that help players learn new concepts, solve problems, explore ideas, or understand real world challenges through interactive gameplay. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced developer, this jam is an opportunity to experiment, collaborate, improve your skills, and create something meaningful. Theme: "Games That Teach, Inspire, and Impact" Build a game related to: Mathematics Science Programming Languages History Environment Any topic that helps people learn Join the challenge, build your idea, and show how games can transform education.

Rules

## 1. Game Requirements * Games must be playable directly in a web browser. * No downloads or installations should be required for judges or players. * Games should follow the theme: **"Games That Teach, Inspire, and Impact."** * Submitted games should include an educational, learning, or problem-solving element. ## 2. Allowed Technologies Participants may use: * HTML * CSS * JavaScript * JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Phaser.js, p5.js, Three.js, etc.) * Browser-based game development tools ## 3. Team Rules * Participants can join individually or in teams. * Teams may have up to 4 members. * Each participant/team can submit multiple games if allowed by the organizer. ## 4. Originality * Games must be created by the participants. * Do not submit copied games or projects created before the jam unless significantly improved during the event. * Participants must have permission to use all assets, music, and resources. ## 5. Submission Requirements Each submission must include: * Playable game link * Game title * Short description * Screenshots * Developer/team information * Optional: Source code link ## 6. Judging Criteria Games will be judged on: 🎮 Gameplay — 25% 💡 Creativity & Innovation — 25% 📚 Educational Value — 25% ⚙️ Technical Implementation — 25% ## 7. Fair Play * Respect other participants. * Do not use harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content. * Do not attempt to interfere with other submissions. ## 8. Final Decision * Judges' decisions are final. * The organizer reserves the right to remove submissions that violate the rules. Good luck and have fun building!
