Quoridor in 60 seconds

Your goal is simple: get your pawn to the opposite side of the board before your opponent does.

Each turn you choose one action:

1. Move your pawn one square (orthogonal — not diagonal), or
2. Place one wall that blocks a path

Walls cannot be jumped. You walk around them. You also may never fully seal every path to a goal — at least one route must remain open for every player.

If an opponent’s pawn sits on an adjacent square, you can often jump over them (like checkers, but only if the landing square is free and not blocked by a wall).

First-match tips

• Don’t spend every wall early — save a few for late-game blocks
• Watch your own path as carefully as you watch theirs
• A wall that forces a long detour is often better than a wall that looks “aggressive”
