great fill-in show; the pac-man ghost thing in that nyt blurb really shows how easily “ai” hype steamrolls basic game logic. i also appreciated the reminder that not every game has to be shootybang, and that interactivity can be about chores and choices, not bosses. i tried to read brendan’s stuff on my phone during a break and got sidetracked by a dumb gambling apps page i’d opened earlier at https://playcrazytime.org/apps/ and it felt exactly like the “ai is being pushed at us” vibe, just in casino form. then another tab i forgot about was https://playmegafishing.com/apps/ and i was annoyed at how hard it is to keep the noise out. even worse, i’d clicked https://7up7downgame.com/ once and it still follows me around in my history, which is its own little lesson in tech saturation. thanks for the thoughtful conversation, and sorry for the rant!
