It feels really good to be getting another update out and this has been a long time coming. I had half of this update finished and left it. Well, this all ties in with what happens next as the dev coin economy is about to become worth a whole lot more. So this update is perfect right now. As you may already know, the only way to user dev coin is on advertising your games. Which is useless to players. So I created the donate feature but players still don't donate to developers. So let's give players a reason to pay developers through the new collectibles system!
Developers now have a new option in their game edit pages for collectibles. This allows you to make collectible cards for your game. All the effects are done for you, you just need to upload the images and configure them. Once you have the required amount of cards needed for a set (you can much more then what's needed). You'll be able to submit for a review. I will then review to make sure the cards are looking good and done properly. The reason for this need is that users can't see cards until they purchase packs. I don't want low effort, low quality cards getting through as these are collectibles.
Once enough cards for a set is approved you will then be able to purchase, using dev coin, packs of cards where you will get three cards each time. You all now have collection pages, you can see mine here: https://idev.games/profile/iDev/collection
This is an update for those who enjoy collecting cards are going to really enjoy. I worked hard to make the card effects look as satisfying as I could.
