Red Kite

THE STORY

In RED KITE, the player takes on the role of the boyfriend of Enya—a neuroscientist working for the pharmaceutical conglomerate NeoTerra. One day, she discovers that numerous deaths in NeoTerra hospitals reveal glaring discrepancies between the official explanations and the autopsy results. Consequently, she sets off for the NeoTerra facility, leaving a message for her boyfriend instructing him to search for her should she fail to return—an event that brings our hero, RED KITE, into the fray.

NeoTerra is a colossal corporation; it controls not only the healthcare system but also the judiciary and the political landscape of this world. NeoTerra is deeply interwoven with the daily lives of the populace; propaganda glorifying the Minwar family—NeoTerra’s founders—is ubiquitous, and the founder’s daughter, Abey Minwar, is currently at the zenith of her popularity.

Abey Minwar was a longtime friend of Enya’s and persuaded her to contribute her expertise in neuroscience to NeoTerra. As a result, Enya was placed under the supervision of Dr. Mario Retzko, the head of the neuro-research division.

Recently, NeoTerra has also become heavily involved in artificial intelligence research—specifically, in the development of an AI that appears disturbingly human. What remains hidden from the masses is the fact that Dr. Retzko—utilizing Enya’s scientific findings within clandestine facilities—is transferring the brains of living human beings into machines, thereby transforming them into mindless thralls of the Minwar conglomerate.

RED KITE is available as a free demo or as the full game—complete with all content—for GameWare and PC (Windows).

The GameWare version includes a .gw file that can be played in the GameWare player and provides the full game; free performance and content updates are also included.

The PC version contains everything found in the GameWare version, plus free support to assist with any issues.
